Today the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that Joel Henning, a 6-8 senior from Roseville, CA, was named to the Academic All-American team for his efforts on the floor and in the classroom. Henning averaged 15.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this past season for the Keelhaulers, and is a 3.6 student in Cal Maritime's nationally-regarded Mechanical Engineering program. For his basketball achievements, Henning was awarded 1st team All-Conference for the Cal-Pac Conference.
