Rocklin, CA -- In a battle for 1st place of the California Pacific Conference, Cal Maritime (8-7, 4-2 in Cal Pac) came up short as William Jessup (10-6, 6-0 in Cal Pac) shot a blistering 60% in the second half to beat the Keelhaulers 77-64 at the NEC arena last night.

CMA, shooting 11 for 28 from 3pt land and 40% overall, was taken out of their system by a solid defensive effort from their opponents.  Mikey Ferguson go hot in the second half and finishing with 17 and Cody Gatton chipped in 13.  All conference player Joseph Mitchell had 15 and Lucas Bichard led all scorers with 18.
