Zac Kinman
from Oroville, Washington, committed to
play for the Keelhaulers of the
California Maritime Academy on Monday.
Kinman recently finished an outstanding
high school basketball career that
included being named All-State and being
chosen to participate in the prestigious
Washington Interscholastic Basketball
Coaches Association All Star Game.
In addition, he was named the most
valuable player of the North Central
Washington League.
Zac also
excels in the classroom carrying a 3.8
grade point average. He is one of
only two high school students in the
state of Washington to sit on the State
Board of Education. Zach is also
active on the Washington Association of
Student Council's Board and an active
mentor with the Youth Activity Center.
"We are
extremely excited to have Zac join our
program. He represents the type of
student-athlete we aspire to recruit due
to his tireless commitment in the
classroom and on the court. I look
forward to Zac having a great career as
a member of our program and school
