Cal Maritime Loses Thriller to Stanford
(Palo Alto, CA, Dec 5, 2009) – Cal Maritime scored three tries against Division 1 Stanford but ended up losing 22-19 after conceding a penalty in the closing minutes of an exciting pre-season game.
First year player Black Cowan scored the opening try for Cal Maritime following a powerful run through two Stanford defenders.
