17 Dec 2005 - The Cal Maritime Women’s Basketball team played Dominican University at home on Saturday night.  The Keelhaulers kept the score through most of the first half, trailing by 8 with 4 minutes remaining in the first half.  With some of the Cal Maritime players getting into foul trouble early, Dominican extended their lead to 18 at the half way mark.  This deficit proved to be too big in the end.  The Keelhaulers were lead by Katie Maddox with 15 and Stacey Sorenson with 13.  Clarisse Osegueda and Laneesh Salahuddin, both coming off injuries, chipped in 7 points each.  Both Sorenson and Jennifer Wadsworth pulled down 8 rebounds. 

The lady Keelhaulers will be off for the holidays and return back to Mayo Hall to play Life Pacific on January 5^th, 2006.  The following night they resume conference play against Simpson University at home.  Both games are double headers with women playing at 5:30 and men following at 7:30.
