With a solid core group of returners and a very talented group of Junior college transfers the Keelhaulers look to step up there play from a year ago and improve on there overall record of 7-20.  Cal Maritime opens it schedule down south versus two very strong Golden State Conference Opponents, The Masters College and Westmont College. 

The Keelhaulers will open at home on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22, when they host the 3rd annual Maritime Cup.  The Keelhaulers will open with Evergreen State College from the Cascade Conference, in the Maritime Cup.  Cal Maritime will open conference play on Dec. 13 at home vs. Dominican. 

Over the Winter Break the Keelhaulers will be attending the Las Vegas Classic for 3 games.  When the Keelhaulers return to California, Cal Pac Conference play will continue.  Coach Covell is very excited about the team this year.  "With the addition of the Junior College transfers and the solid core group of players returning I am very excited about the team."
