On Thursday March 19, 2009 Kristen Lorenzo Committed to play at Cal Maritime Academy.  Lorenzo, a guard out of Ketchikan Alaska, played at Southwestern Oregon Community College for the past 2 years.  Lorenzo averaged 4.8points and 1.2 assists per game for the Lakers.  "Kristen is a very controlled guard who can knock down the open shot and get her teammates involved.  We are very excited about her joining the Keelhualer family,"  Coach Dave Covell commented.
