On Thursday April 2, 2009 the Keelhaulers added depth to the line up at the guard position with the addition of Alayna Woody from Napa Valley College.  Woody averaged 6.9points per game while dishing out 2.2 assists.  Before going to Napa Valley College, Woody played a solid role in St. Patrick's/ St. Vincent's high school State Championship run in 2007-08.  Coach Covell stated "We are very exited about bringing Alayna on board.  She is a solid player with great knowledge of the game and a winning mentality."
