In the first round of the Cal Pac Conference Tournament the Keelhaulers captured there first ever post season victory with a win over Cal State Eats Bay 81-69.  Maritime down 3 at the half came out with solid defense and great team play in the second half to take the lead in the first couple of minutes.  There solid team defense and offensive shot selection helped Maritime hold on for the victory.  The Keelhaulers were lead by Nakia Watson and Lauren Westbrook who both contributed 27 points on great shot selection.  The Keelhaulers assisted on 15 of there 29 baskets and played a great team game of basketball.  The scoring was rounded out by Jessica Cannon and Angela Jackson chipping in 12 and 8 respectively.  Angela also lead the way with 9 rebounds. 

Cal Maritime moves onto the quarter finals to play Dominican University with tip off scheduled for 5:00 pm at Cal State East Bay in Hayward.
