The Keelhaulers played solid defense on
Saturday night vs. Menlo College who is
ranked 14th in the NAIA and 1st in Cal Pac.
Maritime used great team defense to force 17
first half turnovers and 28 for the game.
Down by just 3 at the half. The
Keelhaulers continued to battle on the
defensive end but the size of Menlo was to
much for the Keelhaulers. The
Keelhaulers were lead by
Angela Jackson who
had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Jessica
Dillman stepped up her play on the offensive
end and chipped in 7 points. Menlo was
lead by Stephani Kier who had a double
double with 26 points and 17 rebounds.
The defensive effort by the Keelhaulers Kept
all but one of Menlo's players under 10
points.
The Keelhaulers are at home this week on
Thursday versus Bethany at 5:30 and on
Saturday at 1:00 against William Jessup.
