Parking and Viewing Information
Spectators are highly encouraged to park at
one of the following 3 locations:
(1) Street parking is available on Halyard
Blvd and Beacon Blvd outside of the Port of
Sacramento. Follow the above directions,
but after turning right onto Industrial
Blvd, take the next right onto Halyard Blvd
and park. Carefully walk across Industrial
Blvd and follow the winding road to the
boathouse. This is probably about 1 mile
from the launching area.
(2 & 3)
Better views of the racing can be seen from
the bridge and the levee.
We suggest that spectators view the regatta
from the bridge at the 1500m mark (500m to
go) or along the levee (spans the entire
race course). Please follow the
instructions of the officials at the
bridge. Races may only be viewed from the
east side of the bridge (the side with the
sidewalk). Our ability to allow spectators
on the bridge in the future is based on our
conduct and abidance to these rules. To get
to the bridge, follow the above directions,
but instead of turning right onto Industrial
Blvd, turn LEFT onto Industrial Blvd.
Follow Industrial over the bridge. Directly
after the bridge, there is parking on the
right. You can also access the dirt road
that runs along the levee on the south side
of the race course from this location.
