Michael Weimer Named Men’s Basketball

Player of the Week

CSU Maritime forward Michael Weimer was selected as the California Pacific Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of December 27th, 2009 through January 3rd, 2010.

The Campbell, California native averaged 16.3 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Keelhaulers in a 2-1 week.  The Keelhaulers lost to Mount Marty College 50-48 in Oakland Tuesday, won 63-40 over California Baptist University in Oakland on Wednesday and won 75-60 over UC Santa Cruz in Vallejo on Saturday. 

The Keelhaulers continue their 2009-2010 schedule when they start California Pacific Conference play Thursday as they take on Bethany University in Vallejo.
