The Cal Maritime Crew team kicked off the spring racing season with a strong showing in early February at the Golden State Indoor Rowing Championships in Sacramento.  Several members traveled up to Lake Natoma to test their mettle against other collegiate rowers in a 2,000-meter ergometer race.  In the women's open division, Kalisha Donnelly placed first, while in the women's under 23 lightweight division, Marisa Why placed sixth.  In the men's under 23 lightweight division, George Schneider placed second, while Dan Ryan placed thirteenth in the men's open division. 

The main racing season will kick off with the Sacramento Invitational on Saturday, March 13th, at Lake Natoma.  The Keelhaulers look to have a small, but strong, team this spring.  All supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer on our men and women.
