Experience:The CMA Sailing
team won the North Series in 2003 besting
northern California schools such as Stanford
and UC Berkeley in the 6 regatta series. In
September 2003 the team traveled to the Naval
Academy in Annapolis to win the US Service
Academy Big Boat Championship for the Shields
Trophy.
Outside involvement with your sport: Serves on
the US Sailing Women's Committee, is a US
Sailing Small Boat Instructor Trainer,
Keelboat Instructor Trainer, Powerboat
Instructor Trainer and a Level 2 Performance
Sailing Instructor. She is a competition
member of the Southwestern Yacht Club and a
member of Vallejo Yacht Club.
Personal, hobbies, family
In 1998, she won the US
Women's Open Championship in the doubled
handed division, competed in the US Sailing
Women Keelboat Championship and was earned
the Yachtswoman of the Year award from the
San Diego Association of Yacht Clubs and the
Yachtswomen Excellence award from the
Southern California Yacht Racing Union. Her
latest passion is Match Racing where she has
been in the top five for the US and has
gotten as high as 15th in the World rankings.
